Borrowing (and slightly modifying) from the first line of the Barenaked Ladies song "One Week" (lyrics), sadly reflects the status of the website up until I began the transition to using the concrete5 CMS this past weekend. Wow! Time flies, when you are busy.

Interestingly enough, while doing the first and most basic part of website SEO (research!), I've found that there are a couple of people in this state who are finally getting a clue as to the fact that the website of a company which *makes* websites for other people, should itself have a website that has been search engine optimized.

What a concept! And... sad but true. So many "website" companies have such poor SEO on their very own site, even as they claim to sell that as a service to their clients. One email I received from an "SEO company" trying to reach a client of mine, linked back to an all-Flash site with absolutely 0 optimization - or, in fact, search engine readable content - AT ALL.

Amazing.
