This article popped up on Gizmag, and is something we discussed back in the early/mid 90's when I worked in a surfboard factory, ProGlass, on the North Shore of Hawai'i. The technology back then would be nothing like what we have today, in size, speed, accuracy, or the amount of data whoich could be gathered.
