The Geekworks will Design, Develop, Manage, and Host your website.
Your website is often the first thing someone sees about you or your business these days, and will become a tool that they will refer back to over time. Since, as the old saying goes, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression...", it is crucial that your website should be aesthetically pleasing as well as accurate and comprehensive when reflecting who you are and what your services might be.
The Geekworks can create the professional, complete, cohesive website that will fit your personal requirements. Whatever type of site you need - a simple brochure-style site, a personal or community site with image galleries and forums, a Content Managment System-based site that will be dynamic and ever-growing, a graphically visual site that really shows who you are, and more - The Geekworks is able to produce the website that *you* need.
All websites produced by The Geekworks are designed and tested during creation for both conformance to World Wide Web Consortium (or "W3C") standards, and for cross-browser compatibility. So - what does this mean to you and your customers?? A 'standards compliant' website is non-discriminatory, and will look essentially the same to everyone who sees it, no matter what computer system or web browser they happen to be using. Even if they have a disability and are physically unable to see the site, the information on the site will still be available to them, just as you intended it to be.
Taking extra steps like these to ensure compliance and compatibility is just one of the hallmarks of a website created by The Geekworks. Many of the cheap, "make your own" or 'templated' websites are *not* standards compliant, so you never know if what is seen is what you intended. Do yourself, your business, and your customers a favor - make sure that your content is available for *everyone* to access and enjoy.
Below you will find examples, information, and images of some of the types of websites that The Geekworks has designed and developed. Ranging from the relatively simple to the complex, the descriptions will tell you more about the capabilities of the sites, and how they can be tailored to suit your requirements. As always, questions are welcomed, and you are also encouraged to contact The Geekworks for a free quote regarding what it might take to develop a website that meets your requirements.
